Building agent pipelines today means duct-taping separate systems together, debugging blind when something fails, and rewriting business logic every time you switch models or frameworks. Swale fixes this by treating everything as a step. Scripts, LLM calls, and control flow all share a single contract, making pipelines composable, debuggable, and portable.
Every run produces a structured manifest with full step-level visibility. The framework is harness-agnostic so you can swap models or backends without touching pipeline logic.

I knew that Handcrafted had a lot of potential when Matthew told me about the idea, but I also knew it would take a lot to actually bring it to life.
